So, I guess I’m pretty flattered!

Would you like to comment?

  1. It's also a huge irritation when the original doesn't get credit :( Sorry that you didn't get the credit you deserved!

  2. hmmm.... i would be pretty upset frankly. is there a contact person at the magazine to email? let me know because if so i plan to write.

  3. Yours looks not only prettier - but much better constructed and sturdy. But it's not often you get to say you inspired Martha Stewart, so I'd fight for credit :)

  4. That's your design!I'm not sure I'd let it go too easily. She could at least give you credit or a free mag subscription or something. just saying.

  5. You should write them! If I ever get around to having my husband make one for my little guy, I'll make sure to fully credit you!!

  6. Regretsy has done more than a few posts where an artist has been ripped off by a big corporation. In fact, there was just one a few days ago about an artist who had her work stolen by H&M. Maybe you could write her about it? Also, here's Martha's Facebook page if anyone wants to post there. http://www.facebook.com/MarthaStewartLiving?sk=wall&filter=12

  7. Martha's got her eye on you! Your version is better. :)

  8. Your's is better! And they need to retract because they stole your idea. And that is wrong. Totally wrong. I'll call! I'll write! I'll storm the castle! you rock!

  9. Nice work - I say Congrats to you! I would definitely be flattered! Ok, maybe a little frustrated too but would still take the bragging rights!

  10. Yours is way cuter! Wish you could be credited though... Silly, Martha, never giving anyone else credit for a good idea.

  11. Wow... what to say?!? I bet Martha has teams of people who follow and look at blogs, copy ideas and print them. I think you have it right with the flattery part. Yours is better looking anyway! We know the truth!!!

  12. That's so exciting, Katie! I've seen yours pinned a lot on pinterest, as well. It was a fabulous idea, and your execution was brilliant. It's on my to-do list one of these days. :)

  14. Hi Katie!! I love what you did with this dresser. I like yours better too. I pinned it. It's such a fabulous idea and I would love to do this for my daughter and have been on the lookout for a dresser like this. She has the tiniest room and this would really do well in there. Love your blog!
