10 Minute, 10 Dollar Vintage Valentine Wreath

Vintage Valentines WreathAll of the good home d├ęcor/craft bloggers posted their Valentine’s projects a month ago.
I’m not one of those bloggers.
I decided at the last minute to throw together a little Valentine decoration.  (Sort of like I decorated my porch for Halloween at the last minute.)
I was inspired by this Vintage Valentine wreath that I saw at Antiques Iowa.  It was so cute – I decided to make my own!

I picked out a few cheap vintage valentines from different booths around the antique mall.  The ones I bought were either 50 cents or $1.

Then, I cut out a simple cardboard wreath form.

And taped my Valentines into place.

So quick and easy, and I think it looks pretty cute in my (still unfinished) entryway!

You should probably pin this so that you remember to make one for next Valentine’s Day. Winking smile

By the way – Antiques Iowa is having a Valentine’s Sale through Friday, February 14th!  Open 7 days a week on I-35 in Story City, IA.  Check it out and tell ‘em I sent you!  (And there are still two Valentines Wreaths for sale there, and hundreds of vintage valentines!  Wouldn’t that be a sweet treat for your love?)
