Daddy’s Garden

My daddy and I put in this garden when I was about 8 months pregnant.  Literally – we did it in June 2008 and Adam was born in July.
This year, the third year, the plants are looking gorgeous!

(My parents are working on their house – aren’t we all?  It is earth-burmed, so there is an entry way and stairs down to the house.  The south side of the house is open, like a walk out basement.)
Columbine.  They look spectacular with the red mulch.

Perennial Pansies? Who’d a thunk?  But they survived our zone 5 winter and came back up!
