So now seems like the perfect time to share a pictures of the prettiest little girl’s room I’ve ever seen, with beautiful pastels that can’t help but remind you of warmer days.
The small bedroom is part of the same home I featured in December (click here to see the Holiday Home Tour) and has the same unique, vintage style as the rest of the house.
To make this room special for their five year old daughter, the homeowners painted a vintage Jenny Lind bed a soft yellow.
Sage green wide stripes on the wall match the pretty quilt on the bed.
An antique, stained wood dresser adds contrast and keeps the room from being too feminine. (Maybe it’s because I live in a houseful of boys, but I think every room needs a little natural wood.)
I took these picture right before Christmas, so the room was decorated for the holiday. I love this vintage style tinsel tree. It’s the perfect whimsical seasonal touch.
And the pattern on that lampshade – so cute!
On the other side of the room, a custom bookcase holds toys and books for the sweet 5 year old.
The bookcase is painted the same soft yellow as the bed.
Inexpensive green baskets hold toys.
And to the right of the bookcases, there is a special reminder between the pretty chandelier and DIY “vanity.”
